On March 12,1914, Governor Martin H. Glynn signed the bill incorporating Norwich as a city.
Fred McMullen became its first mayor.
The work of the city historian and records management revolves around the past. A collection of past memorabilia is available to interested persons of all ages.
Research can be done on site at the Hale Street office. Please call for an appointment in advance.
